The meeting will also be live-streamed on the PCSA YouTube channel and available here on the PCSA website.
The PCSA was established on 2 April 2025 with the commencement of the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024.
The Authority will meet monthly with the Garda Commissioner to discuss policing performance and matters of community safety. These meetings will be held in public at least four times a year.
The Authority met the Garda Commissioner in private last month to discuss the development of the Policing Priorities, An Garda Síochána’s Annual Service Plan and the protection of children in the State, amongst other things.
Meanwhile, the PCSA is running a major public consultation on setting the Policing Priorities for gardaí for 2026-2028.
It is giving members of the public, gardaí and community organisations the chance to share their views on how policing resources should be allocated.
As part of the process it is hosting a series of in-person consultations with stakeholders from around the country and meeting hundreds of gardaí from every division.
The PCSA is also asking the public to submit their priorities in an online tool, which remains open until 8 June and takes just a few minutes to complete.
