Watch: Garda Commissioner meets PCSA in public in Wexford

Garda Commissioner Justin Kelly and senior officers met members of the PCSA in public at the Talbot Hotel on Thursday 27 November.

Items on the agenda included the delivery of policing services in the Wexford/Wicklow division, community safety and partnership working, and garda responses to domestic, sexual and gender-based violence.

Gráinne Berrill, the Director of the National Office for Community Safety, was also in attendance and questioned by the Authority.

These meetings are a key aspect of the Authority’s engagement with the Garda Commissioner and cover a range of topics in relation to policing performance.

The meeting in Wexford was an opportunity to focus on policing issues that matter most to the local community.

As part of our consultations in Wexford, the PCSA held meetings with local gardaí and also met with a broad range of community representatives.

Our next meeting in public with the Garda Commissioner will take place in February 2026 and can be live streamed on our YouTube channel and website.
